This project is one very close to my heart. I was commissioned by PlayerLayer to create the kit design for the Jamaican Rugby League World Cup. Being of Jamaican heritage, I loved being able to explore the culture more and portray its vibrancy through my design.
I included authentic Jamaican imagery in a sketchy graffiti style, mixed with brush strokes and dripping paint. I painted my design directly onto a plain rugby shirt, worn by one of the Reggae Warrior players. It was then turned into a digital print design by the creative team and used as the official Reggae Warriors kit for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
